What is Ad Astra?

Redefining how undergraduate builders design, code, and deploy physical-digital systems.

Ad Astra is a student-oriented deep-tech community, built to give students something no single college club or scattered course can: real, structured exposure across Drones, Robotics, AI, and Additive Manufacturing, backed by the mentorship and infrastructure to actually build with them, not just learn about them.

Most college clubs treat these technologies in isolation. We treat them as one integrated system. A modern autonomous drone isn't just a frame. It's a mechanical print, an embedded controller, and an AI-driven computer vision script, working in absolute synchronization.

We operate through structured branches inside campuses, backed by a national community that supplies structured roadmaps.

Pure Student Autonomy

Run by builders who face the same problems. Zero corporate bureaucracy, maximum iteration speed.

System-Level Architecture

Learn to integrate mechanical, electronics, and intelligence stacks rather than learning them in isolation.

National Infrastructure Support

Chapters receive complete build frameworks, verified components lists, and industry-grade roadmaps.

INTEGRATED DEEP-TECH DOMAINS

Drones

Flight dynamics, custom airframe design, telemetry setups, and autonomous navigation protocols.

Robotics

Control systems, kinematics, motor drivers, sensor arrays, and custom rover structures.

AI / ML

Edge computer vision, sensor fusion, predictive pathing, and autonomous decision pipelines.

Additive Mfg

Mechanical structures, rapid prototyping, structural stress analysis, and 3D print optimization.

EMBEDDED // GDG_CIT

Embedded Systems Workshop

AdAstra organized an Embedded Systems workshop in collaboration with GDG CIT, bringing together students and tech enthusiasts to build, innovate, and gain hands-on experience in embedded systems and hardware development.

3D Printing Workshop
FORGE_CREW // 3D_PRINT

3D Printing Workshop

The ForgeCrew 3D Printing Team of AdAstraCIT conducted a successful 3D Printing Workshop, providing participants with valuable insights into 3D printing technology. The interactive session combined learning and hands-on experience, making it both informative and inspiring.

Drones & Robotics Training
ROBOTICS

Drones & Robotics Training

AdAstra Lead Nishaanth has trained 1,000+ students in drones and robotics through workshops at KV DRDO School, Alliance University, Ekya School, CIT Students, and many other college students and even AdAstra team in collaboration with Roberon Technologies. He has also conducted drone and robotics workshops in various government schools, covering both theory and hands-on practical training. His sessions provide students with an engaging and enjoyable learning experience while building real-world technical skills.

02 // ARCHITECTURE AUDIT

Why Ad Astra?

Bridging the gap between standard engineering curriculums and high-performance industry deployment.

Scattered courses with no clear path
Integrated build roadmaps that tie hardware, math, and code together.
The traditional club with no industry channel
Active MOU network placing builders directly in deep-tech startups.
No mentor to turn to when stuck
On-call practitioner mentors who have shipped commercial systems.

System Differentiators

Practitioner MentorsDirect assistance from engineers who design and ship commercial drones and embedded stacks daily.
Real AccountabilityWeekly syncs, build deadlines, and visible code commits. We measure status by working hardware, not PPT slides.
Real Industry AccessDirect internship routing, partner hackathons, and hardware resource deployment.
Low Cost to CollegeWe bring the mentors, the frameworks, and the network at low cost. Lower financial load on the college.
